What Is PrimeTime®?

PrimeTime® is a new, faith-based after school program jointly developed by Scripture Union and The Salvation Army. Aimed at children 6-12 years old, it can be easily adapted to children as young as kindergarten age. PrimeTime® offers churches and other organizations an effective tool for sharing God’s love and God’s word with children during the after school hours when many children are alone and unsupervised.

The PrimeTime® program features a 40 week curriculum (paralleling the school year) that combines fun activities, tutoring and homework help with creative Bible teaching. The first year’s curriculum, The Big StoryTM, provides children with an overview of the message of the Bible. Included with the curriculum is a Start-Up Manual with all the steps necessary to starting and conducting a successful after school outreach program.  The Big StoryTM is also available in a Spanish version, La Gran Historia. The second year' curriculum, Following Jesus, focuses on how to be a disciple of Jesus. The third year curriculum is Heroes of Faith, featuring hereos from both the Bible and modern times (such as Mother Teresa and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.).

The program can be conducted either daily or weekly.
