New Children's Summer Outreach Resource Here

Luke: Good News for You! SuperKidsIf your church is looking for just the right resource to use in reaching children outside the orbit of the church this summer, Scripture Union’s recently released SuperKids curriculum, “Luke: Good News for You” may be just what you need.

The curriculum, based on the gospel of Luke, teaches truths about Jesus and his mission as reported in that Gospel. Each day's program features a television show presenting the news about the most amazing, sensational person ever: Jesus! The curriculum provides complete instructions and dialog for a fun, “action news” format that helps children discover the good news about Jesus in Luke’s Gospel.

Each of the 10 daily lessons provides an introductory news cast, a Bible drama, a memory verse, Bible story, quiz time and suggested games and other fun activities. There’s also a set of 10 age graded small group Bible studies that track the overall themes and Bible passages studied each day.

Now Available in Two Formats

This gospel-based curriculum is designed for use with elementary age children and is ideal for use in parks, playgrounds, housing projects or even beach resort areas—anywhere children gather in the summer. It’s especially designed to reach children who may have little or no church background and it has recently been revised and updated. It’s now available in both a notebook binder ($69.95) or a CD ($42.50).

“Luke: Good News for Youwill be used this summer by Scripture Union’s own SuperKids programs anticipated to be conducted in 100 locations around the country as well as being used by numerous churches in their own outreach ministries. It is part of a series of four curricula, one for each of the four Gospels. For more information or to order a copy of “Luke: Good News for You online today click on the links in this article.
