Third year PrimeTime Curriculum Now Available
Scripture Union and The Salvation Army have just released the third year's PrimeTime(R) curriculum entitled "Heroes of Faith". PrimeTime is a Bible-based after school outreach curriculum for children 5-12 years of age.
"Heroes of Faith" introduces children to Bible heroes such as Noah, Job, Samuel, David, Daniel, Sarah, Anna, Joseph, Rahab and others. It also introduces children to comtemporary heroes of faith including Corrie ten Boom, Nicky Cruz, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and Mother Teresa. In this way, children see how the Christian faith is lived out in daily life and can see "models" and "heroes" to indentify with.
First Two Years Also Available
The PrimeTime curriculum covers a full 40 week school year and is adaptable to different time schedules and and a once weekly or daily program. The schedule includes not only Bible time, but time for games, homework help and snacks.
Also available are the first two years of PrimeTime, "The Big Story" (Year 1) which gives children an overview of the message of the Bible and "Following Jesus" (Year 2), which has a discipleship emphasis. "The Big Story" is also available in Spanish ("La Gran Historia").
To purchase the PrimeTime curriculum for $49.95, or for more information about PrimeTime and how you can start an after school outreach program, please visit the PrimeTime resource center here online or call 1-800-621 LAMP (5267).
